David Buckwald began his career in the insurance and financial services industry in 1988. A graduate of Rutgers University and the American College of Life Underwriters, he earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations in 1995, and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1999.

David is one of the five founding principals of Atlas Advisory Group, LLC. Atlas Advisory Group is a Member Firm of M Financial Group, one of the nation’s premier financial services design and distribution companies serving the affluent and corporate markets.

David is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table’s (MDRT) prestigious Court of the Table and Top of the Table. He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Golden Key Society, and the Financial Planning Association.

Specializing in estate planning and wealth transfer issues, David’s goal is to work with his clients as a financial coach, helping them to make smart choices with their money so that they can achieve their financial goals and spend more time doing what truly matters to them.

As a member of Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group, David is dedicated to helping his clients maximize their income in retirement, while minimizing their tax exposure through various financial planning strategies and IRA distribution planning.

David is active in the 200 Club of Union County, New Jersey, a charitable organization benefitting widows and families of fallen police officers and firemen. Dave was a main platform speaker at the 2008 Million Dollar Round Table forum. He is an invited speaker for various conferences and training seminars throughout the world.
